Norman R. Loesing, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at his home, with his
wife by his side on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born January 1, 1937, in
Sheboygan to the late Albert and Hilda (Bahler) Loesing. After graduation, Norm
proudly joined the Marine Corp and served from 1954 to 1957. Following his honorable
discharge from the Marine Corp, he worked in the sheet metal trade until his retirement
in 1997. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Local 18 for over 50 years.
On November 5, 1978, he was united in marriage to Suzanne Hoefner. They had 46
years full of fun and laughter. Norm always said, “Don’t cry for me, remember the good
times!”
After buying the cottage on Shawano Lake in 1997, Norm retired. He said he had no
time for a job. He spent the next couple of years remodeling and making it the best
home away from home.
