It’ll be 14 years in prison for Nathan Heitzmann, the 25-year-old Sheboygan man found guilty in the deadly crash that took a young girl’s life.
Heitzmann was driving with a suspended license when he failed to stop at the intersection of 21st and Saemann Avenue in Sheboygan in April of last year. That caused a vehicle collision that sent the second vehicle into 4-year-old Cordelia Kuether who’d stopped during a walk with her family to pet a dog.
Judge Rebecca Persick handed down the sentence in Sheboygan County court on Thursday.
