A special Committee of the Whole meeting of the Sheboygan Common Council was held to discuss what is apparently a serious personnel issue in City government. The closed session was called to follow a regularly scheduled Finance and Personnel Committee meeting, and commenced at 5:15 p.m. Committee of the Whole meetings operate under relaxed structure in order to promote open discussion without the need to follow Robert’s Rules of Order. Those discussions lasted until around 7:45 p.m.
No information was released following the closed-session, as expected. Prior to the meeting, City Administrator Casey Bradley responded to a request for comment from WHBL News, but he declined, saying that he could not comment on a personnel issue.
Results of Monday’s discussions will guide the next steps to be taken concerning the issue.
