A Cedar Grove man was injured in a crash between a grain truck and a dump truck south west of the village yesterday afternoon.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened around 5pm at the intersection of 6-mile Road and County RR. Investigators say the grain truck was southbound on 6-mile Road and failed to stop at the intersection with County RR. His truck was struck by a fully loaded dump truck with the right-of-way. The driver of the dump truck was reported to be OK after the accident.
The Driver of the grain truck was trapped in the cab for about an hour before he could be removed from the wreckage. He was airlifted to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee to be treated for a leg injury.
