It’ll be a busy day for Matt Greenwood at Sheboygan’s City Hall. Greenwood will be welcomed during a luncheon at noon today, and then be officially appointed by Mayor Sorenson as Sheboygan’s new Director of Information Technology during tonight’s Common Council meeting. Greenwood is not unfamiliar to the City and many of its employees, though, as he’s worked for the city for two years, joining the Sheboygan Police Department as an Electronics Technician in 2022.
Another appointment before the Council will be the recommendation that Kevin Jump, currently the Civil Engineer and Project Manager for the City of Sheboygan, be appointed to the position of City Engineer.
The Council is also expected to approve a contract with Buteyn-Peterson Construction Company for improvements to the Kiwanis Park and Wildwood Baseball Field parking lots.
Tonight’s meeting takes place at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
