MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally for a 6-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at American Family Field on Thursday afternoon.
Willy Adames hit an RBI-single to tie the game before Tyler Black plated the go-ahead run on a ground out one batter later.
William Contreras and Jackson Chourio homered for the Crew, who earned a split in the four-game series.
Bryan Hudson picked up the win and Devin Williams notched his third save.
Gavin Lux had two hits, an RBI and scored twice for the Dodgers, who have dropped two in-a-row on the heels of a five-game winning streak. Daniel Hudson suffered the loss.
LA is now just two games ahead of Arizona and San Diego for first place in the NL West.
The Brewers will now welcome the Cleveland Guardians to American Family Field for a three-game weekend series. Game one is Friday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 6:35.
