The outlook isn’t promising due to expected rains, and so the John Michael Kohler Arts Center has cancelled tonight’s Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series concert. The event was to have been held at the Art Preserve along with activities, food trucks and a beverage tent. The National Weather Service, however, has been eyeing the likelihood of substantial rain and possible thunderstorm activity for several days, with predictions now coming to fruition.
The JMKAC does offer the public the opportunity to take part in a panel discussion with Sunny Jain of “Sunny Jain’s Wild Wild East” and Ankur Malhotra of Madison’s “SpinCycle” which were scheduled to perform tonight. That takes place from 12 noon until 1 p.m. today.
Also, the Wayside Community Day at the Art Preserve takes place on Saturday, offering live music, picnic on the grounds, and displays of art created by individuals with diverse life experiences.
