Nearly $3.4 million ($3.386,485.95) for local road improvements have been steered toward four Sheboygan County projects by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. A total of 1,003 statewide projects funded in part by the $174 million infusion from the DOT’s Local Roads Improvement Program were announced on Wednesday. Through the LRIP program, communities are reimbursed for a percentage of the total eligible project costs, with the balance funded by the local unit of government.
