(Reuters) – Beiersdorf reported higher half-year sales on Wednesday, helped by double-digit percentage growth in its flagship skincare brand Nivea.
Group sales rose 7.1% organically to 5.2 billion euros ($5.7 billion) in the first six months of 2024, compared to the same period last year.
Sales at key businesses Nivea and Derma grew by 11.1% and 8.3% respectively, while its luxury brand La Prairie saw its sales drop 7% due to a strong decline in China’s luxury skincare market.
