Alan Dearie, age 71, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on July 22,
2024, at St. Nicholas Hospital and was reunited with his wife Edna Dearie
on a higher plane of consciousness. He was born in Scottland, UK, on
February 15, 1953.
Alan was fond of a good pint and wearing his Scottish kilt on special
occasions. He was a bonus father and grandfather figure to Edna’s family
for 17 years. Alan enjoyed games of skill, golf, and a good smoke.
He grew closer to his wife’s family after her passing. Found higher power
and was loved deeply. He will be remembered and missed by all that knew
him.
Survivors include his four stepchildren, Wayne (Eleanor) Hatleli, Lonnie
Hatleli, Christopher Hatleli, and Shawn (ShaVonna) Wilson; nine
grandchildren, Martha, Nick, Amanda, Alexandria, Lonnie Jr., Madisyn,
Mckenzy, Holland, and Shawn Mason; and four great-grandchildren,
Skarllete, Kalliopee, Lonnie III, and Alyra.
A memorial service for Alan will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 7:00
p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12 th Street, Sheboygan
with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Family and friends may gather at the
funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at
