Renovations of two retail spaces located in Memorial Plaza on Wilgus Avenue in Sheboygan have been completed, and with it comes a name change for the developer behind the project.
The south face storefront, previously home to Office Max, was upgraded for occupation by the craft store, Michaels, which is on target for a July 19th soft opening. The east face storefront is being made available for immediate lease.
Memorial Plaza is managed by North Town Partners, and consists of the Marcus Theater, McDonald’s, Pizza Ranch, Harbor Frieght, Dunham’s Sports, and Big Lots. Renovation of the two spaces was an initiative of Van Horn Development, which undertook the project as a natural extension of the auto dealership owned by Chuck Van Horn. The success of that company’s 99-acre North Town Development in the Town of Sheboygan over the past two years prompted a name change from Van Horn Development to North Town Partners. Its management footprint includes Memorial Plaza in Sheboygan, PGA Superstor and Chapter Aesthetic, both in Brookfield, and Several new retailers slated to open in North Town this fall.
