Michael Burgard, age 50, of Plymouth WI, passed away peacefully at home on June 25th, surrounded by
his immediate loved ones.
He was diagnosed with stage 4, severely aggressive GlioBlastoma brain cancer and fought his hardest for
2 months.
Mike is survived by his wife Jennifer Schneeberg, four children, as well as many other family members
and friends.
He worked at Curt Joa for almost 30 years. He worked his way to become an Industrial Electrician and
finally an Electrical Coordinator/Leadman of the Electrical Department. The last 2 years he had worked
at Wisconsin Plastics as a Maintenance Manager.
Mike enjoyed working on projects around the house, always building, fixing and maintaining things on
the hobby farm. He also had a huge heart to help others.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice
for the extraordinary care given to Mike. Also a heartfelt thanks to all his friends from Curt Joa who
took the time to stop by to visit, reminisce of the good old times with lots of good laughs, and share how
much they truly loved Mike and how important he was in so many people’s lives.
Also, thank you to all the other family, friends and wonderful neighbors who helped Mike and Jennifer
through this difficult journey.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (July 1st, 2024) at Plymouth Alliance Church, 1203 Fairview
