MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers have won back-to-back games against the Texas Rangers following a 3-1 victory from American Family Field on Tuesday night.
Joey Ortiz blasted a solo homer in the fifth inning to break a 1-1 deadlock.
Bryse Wilson earned the win in relief as the Brew Crew have won three straight games.
Josh Smith brought home the Ranger’s lone run on an RBI single in the top of the first inning.
Starting pitcher Andrew Heaney was charged with the loss and fell to 2-9 after allowing two runs through five frames.
Milwaukee is still first in the NL Central at 47-33, five and a half games ahead of second place St. Louis.
