The seemingly endless threat of severe weather continues in Wisconsin as the National Weather Service is keeping a close eye on systems moving through overnight.
The focus of concern is an expected line of thunderstorms that should move into western Wisconsin by midnight, gaining momentum as it moves quickly through southern Wisconsin. For Sheboygan County the most likely time is between 1 and 4 a.m. Tuesday. Although not expected to be as heavy as the weekend deluge, rains of over a half inch would still be capable of ponding on roadways, yards and fields due to the wet conditions. However the greatest hazard appears to be from strong winds and small hail.
The entire southern part of the state is under a slight, 2-in-5 risk of severe weather, and the National Weather Service advises staying up-to-date, especially when storms hit after dark. The good news is that storms should mostly clear out by sunrise.
