MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers held on for a 5-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday afternoon to win their series.
Willy Adames blasted a two-run homer as part of a five-run sixth inning.
Rookie Tobias Myers gave up just one run and three hits over six innings while striking out four batters and walking one. Hoby Milner allowed three runs in the ninth, but Trevor Megill came in to earn the save.
Milwaukee is first in the NL Central at 40-28 and will have Thursday off before opening a three-game weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds at American Family Field beginning on Friday night.
