Louette E. “Lou” Boeldt ,89, off Plymouth, WI passed away Early Tuesday morning (June 11, 2024) at Plymouth Health
Services where she had been a resident for the past month.
Lou was born on October 30, 1934 in the Town of Mosel, a daughter of the late
Alvin and Verana (Brost) Sixel.
She attended Dewey Grade School in the Town of Rhine and graduated from
Elkhart Lake- Glenbeulah High School in 1953.
On August 27, 1955, she married Robert O. Boeldt at St. Peter’s Reformed
Church in the Town of Rhine. The couple farmed in the Town of Rhine until 1962,
then moved to their present address in 1967. Bob preceded her in death on
February 8, 2018.
Lou worked at Cleveland Container in Plymouth for two years and then was
employed at Stokley Van Camp Company in Plymouth for several years and for
25 years at Valley View Medical Center in Plymouth.
She was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
Lou enjoyed going out to eat with her family at the many different restaurants in
the area.
Survivors include: her children: Gene Boeldt and Susan Boeldt, One sister:
Geraldine Korb of Kiel and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear
friends.
Lou was preceded in death by her husband: Robert, daughter: Mary Ann, sister:
Margene (Milton) Karsted, brothers-in-law: Richard Korb and Orville Boeldt and
sisters-in-law: Aroma and Florence.
Funeral services will be held on Monday evening (June 17, 2024) at 5:00 P.M.
at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Andrew Thompson, pastor of St.
John Lutheran Church in Plymouth will officiate. Cremation will take place
following the services and inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn
Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday afternoon (June 17) at the Suchon Funeral Home
from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lou’s name.
