Drivers on Highway 57 near Plymouth had to find alternate route for a time on Tuesday night due to trouble with the railroad gates.
The Plymouth Police Department notified the public via social media just before 7 p.m., reporting that the crossing arms at the railroad north of County “PP” began opening and closing intermittently. The highway was shut down between County Highways “PP” and “C” until a railroad repair crew could respond and fix the problem.
