PHILADELPHIA, PA (WHBL) – The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 in ten innings in game two of their three-game series on Tuesday night.
Elvis Peguero gave up the tying home run in the eighth inning to Alec Bohm while Joel Payamps got the loss after surrendering the game-winning run in the 10th. The Phillies’ Nick Castellanos doubled home the walk-off run as Philadelphia has grabbed the first two games of the series.
Andruw Monasterio drove in the Brewer’s only run as Milwaukee remains first in the NL Central at 36-25.
Seranthony Dominguez earned the win in relief as Philly remains first in the NL East at 43-19.
The Brewers will try to avoid the sweep as the series wraps up Wednesday afternoon. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 2:30.
