A subject who died in his holding cell at the Ozaukee County Jail early Saturday morning has been identified.
The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office identified the person as 36-year-old Nelson J. Torres Morales of Milwaukee. Torres Morales was being held on local charges and an out-of-county warrant after being taken into custody on Thursday, May 30th. He was discovered deceased in his cell at 2:30 Saturday morning.
The investigation into Torres Morales’ death was turned over to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
