KYIV (Reuters) – A Russian missile attack overnight destroyed a power facility and damaged the power grid in Kyiv on Friday, the DTEK energy company said via Telegram messaging app.
Ukraine’s largest private energy company said power has been restored to most of the buildings impacted in the attack with back-up sources, leaving some 10 private residences and one business without power.
Serhiy Popko, the head of Kyiv’s military administration, previously said a fire broke out in a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi district of the city as a result of falling debris.
