Michael M. Skelton, 72, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Mary’s –
Felician Village in Manitowoc. He was born June 22, 1951 in Sheboygan to the late Murray and
Helen (Binder) Skelton. Mike graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of
1969, and then went on to receive his degree as a Mechanical Design Technician from LTI.
On August 30, 1975, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Menzer at Trinity Lutheran Church
in Sheboygan. Together they celebrated 48 years of marriage.
Mike worked for Pemco in the Engineering Department retiring in 2014.
Mike has a passion for cars. His pride was his 1973 Dodge Challenger, along with all the others
he collected over the years. He enjoyed going to Road America, spending time with his son at
car shows, and watching NASCAR. Mike was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling with his
family and friends. He was an amazing husband and father. His family will cherish all the lasting
memories they created together.
Mike is survived by his wife Kathy, son Jim both of Cleveland, sisters; Mary Meyer of
Sheboygan, Kathleen (Dan) Koepsel of Hingham, and Margaret (Mark) Larson of Sheboygan,
brothers-in-law; Robert (Joanne) Menzer of Sheboygan, Fred (Betty) Menzer of Brownsville, and
Dave (Julie) Menzer of Sheboygan, and sister-in-law Barbara Menzer of Sheboygan. He is
further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in
death by his parents, infant brother Tommy, in-laws Fred and Grace Menzer and brothers-in-law
Donald Meyer and Donald F. Menzer and his fury friend Wimpy.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held in the fall. Please continue to watch the funeral home

Home or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Mike’s name.
