Sheboygan’s Habitat for Humanity Lakeside welcomes a new leader today. Daryl Mangeri was welcomed as Habitat’s new Executive Director after having led Family Services Association for the past five years. Mangeri has also served as the Executive Director of Consumer Credit Counseling Services and spent 15 years guiding the Sheboygan Salvation Army post prior to that. He succeeds Niki Zohrab, the previous Executive Director since 2021.
Habitat Lakeside’s Board President Andres Araujo noted Mangeri’s “proven track record of positively impacting our community”, saying the organization was “thrilled to welcome Daryl to Habitat for Humanity Lakeside.” He said they’re confident that he will provide strong leadership of the mission of building homes, community and hope throughout Sheboygan County.
Habitat celebrated 30 years in Sheboygan in 2023 and completed their 50th home within their Home Buyer program in July of last year. Their current home build at 822 Oakland Avenue in Sheboygan is nearly complete, and will be dedicated next week Wednesday at 4 p.m.
