She attended Longfellow Elementary School, Farnworth Junior High School and graduated from
Central High School in 1940. Following high school, she worked in the Kohler Company General Office.
Geraldine was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church being baptized, confirmed and

really enjoyed participating in planning her high school reunions and in her later years looked forward
to the monthly lunches with her classmates.
Geraldine enjoyed reading, bowling and spending time at the family cabin near Laona, WI. She loved
watching the Packers and Brewers. She had a cookie jar that was always full of her homemade
chocolate chip cookies.
She was a busy resident at Sheboygan Senior Community playing cribbage and sheepshead, going to
musical events, participating in the resident council and sipping an old fashioned during her favorite
Happy Hours.
Geraldine is survived by her children: Jane (Michael) Martin, Martha (Daniel) Hornickel, James
(Donna) Rusch, Thomas (Lynn) Rusch, Kathleen (Michael) Klee and Mary (Gary) Strohm; 16
grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Fritz and numerous
