MIAMI, FL (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers dropped two of three games to the Miami Marlins after getting shut 1-0 in the series finale on Wednesday night.
The Marlins’ starting pitcher, Jesus Luzardo, went eight innings, gave up just four hits, did not allow a run and struck out four.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. slugged a solo homer off Freddy Peralta for the only run of the game. Gary Sanchez recorded two of Milwaukee’s hits.
The Brew Crew still lead the NL Central at 28-21.
The Brewers have Thursday off before heading to Boston for a three-game weekend series against the Red Sox beginning Friday night.
