Variants from the usual trash and recyclable collections due to the Memorial Day holiday have been released by the City of Sheboygan Department of Public Works. As there won’t be any collections on Monday, May 27th, the usual Monday pickup will take place on Tuesday, May 28th. Likewise, the usual date of any collection will be delayed by one day, with Tuesday’s collection on Wednesday, and so forth with Friday, May 31st’s collection conducted on Saturday, June 1st.
As for the city’s Recycling Center on New Jersey Avenue, there will be a closure on Monday, May 27th. The remainder of the regular schedule will be observed, with hours from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, while Saturday, June 1st, the center will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
