David Peffer

David R. Peffer, 84, of Sheboygan, WI., passed away at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on
Tuesday, April 30, 2024. His room, heart and soul were full of love.
David was born on May 27, 1939, to the late Carl and Ethelda (Downie) Peffer.
He graduated with an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College with the class of 1981 and had a successful
career as a financial executive. He volunteered with his children’s youth groups, and served as an officer
of the elite Elk’s Lodge, Chapter 1350 in Lakewood, Ohio and as a board member at the Vince Lombardi
Cancer Clinic in Sheboygan.
A world traveler, entrepreneur, Certified Public Accountant and businessman, David’s greatest legacies
will be his ability to find humor in any situation, his glorious hair, and a heart so big it could no longer
live.
David, affectionately known as “Dadis the Padis” to his children, is survived by his dearest friend of 21
years, Judy, who has a heart of gold, and her daughter Jacqualynn; his fabulous brother Carl, who shares
David’s good looks, quick wit, and upbeat demeanor; his seven sarcastic yet artistically fortunate children,
David (Beverly), John (Susan), Lisa (John), Michael (Melinda), Tom, Steven (Paula), and Mary Blanket;
his four angelic grandchildren, Allison Nicole, Madeline Rose, Parker Hiland, and Veronica Myrtle; and
his ex-wife, Karen to whom he was married for 27 years.
He is preceded in heaven by his parents, younger brother Richard, ex-wife Maxine, dog Susie, and cat
Blue.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Renee and crew at the Walmart in Plymouth
for their support and friendship of David; the medical teams at Aurora Health Care and the Vince
Lombardi Cancer Clinic; the exceptional team at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center (Allison,
Celia, Don, Erik, the Lisa’s, and so many others), and to God, for providing David grace, peace, and
comfort as he soared from this world to the next.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be given in David’s name to the Vince
Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Sheboygan.
