Sheboygan Falls parents have been informed of an investigation into conduct by a student teacher. Notification was sent on Monday by Superintendent Zach Pethan that the District learned of allegations that a student teacher at Sheboygan Falls High School might have engaged in inappropriate conduct with a high school student.
Pethan said that the person in question was placed on administrative leave immediately after they learned of the allegations, and informed local law enforcement officials who are conducting the investigation. Pethan told families in a letter distributed by email that with that investigation still underway, details of the allegation can’t be shared. However, he assured families that the situation is being taken very seriously and are fully cooperating with the law enforcement investigation.
He concluded by stating that “As always, the health, safety and well-being of our students remains the District’s highest priority.”
WHBL News has contacted local authorities and will update with any new information as this story goes forward.
