Sheboygan Police were called to a shooting early Saturday morning on Sheboygan’s North side. In a Nixle Message, the Sheboygan Police Department said they responded to the 1300 block of North 14th Street at around 2 a.m. after the 19-year-old shooter called 911 and said he’d shot his 19-year-old friend.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Appleton with critical, but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect remains behind bars while awaiting charges from the District Attorney’s office.
Police say both the victim and suspect were drunk and know each other – and there’s no ongoing threat to the public.
