INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WHBL) – The Indiana Pacers are moving on to the second round of the NBA playoffs for the first time in a decade.
Indy blew out the Milwaukee Bucks 120-98 in Game Six from Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday night to earn a 4-2 Eastern Conference series victory.
Damian Lillard returned for Milwaukee after missing the last two games due to an Achilles injury and led all scorers with 28 points. Bobby Portis finished with 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Bucks suffered a first-round playoff exit for a second straight season.
Obi Toppin led Indiana with 21 points off the bench. TJ McConnell added 20 off the bench, while Pascal Siakam paced the starters with 19 points. Tyrese Haliburton tallied a double-double on 17 points and 10 assists.
Indy squares off against the New York Knicks in Round Two.
