Diplomas will be handed over to the spring class of 2024 Graduates of Lakeshore Technical College as they walk the stage during ceremonies scheduled for Saturday, May 11th. Among those will be seven students who will be the first to receive their associate degrees through LTC’s information technology-cybersecurity specialist program.
More than 325 graduates in all have completed their courses. A majority of the almost 500 credentials being awarded are associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates, while almost 100 Registered Apprenticeships, GED certificates, and High School Equivalency Diplomas will also be handed out.
LTC is unique in that it responded to student feedback and configures its commencement to confer degrees by academic area rather than all alphabetically, although each student may attend when schedules work best for them and their families. All buildings on campus will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. to everyone who wants to attend.
