A plea deal has been reached in Racine County for a Sheboygan Falls woman accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 13 year old boy.
Kerry Hughes entered a guilty plea Friday to a charge of first degree child sexual assault. The Racine County Sheriff says Hughes sent inappropriate messages and also had sexual contact with the child. According to court documents, the two eventually ended up at Hughes’ home where she touched the child. Also during the investigation, at least another victim came forward with claims of additional violations.
Remaining charges that involved enticement, exposure, use of a computer for child sex crimes and child pornography possession were dropped as a result of the plea deal. Hughes will be back in court for sentencing July 8th.
