PITTSBURGH, PA (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers edged the Pirates 3-2 in game three of their series in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.
William Contreras singled-home a run, while Rhys Hoskins and Blake Perkins drove in runs after getting hit by a pitch and walking with the bases loaded.
Bryan Hudson earned the win in relief.
Bryan Reynolds provided all of the offense for Pittsburgh with a two-run homer in the third inning. Josh Fleming got the loss after giving up two unearned runs over two-plus innings.
Pittsburgh is fourth in the NL Central at 13-12
Milwaukee still leads the NL Central at 15-9 and will try to salvage a split in this series when it wraps up Thursday afternoon. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 11am.
