The Plymouth Police Department is investigation reports of a possible threat of violence made by a student at Riverview Middle School.
Superintendent Dan Mella sent a release to families on Monday evening, saying that the administration contacted police directly, and together are working to assess the threat by contacting witnesses.
Mella went on to say that the student involved has been referred by police and will not be in class the rest of this week as the investigation continues. The District is also working with Social Services and police to ensure safety at Riverview Middle School.
