Patricia M. Graff, age 95, was called home on April 5, 2024, to be with her personal Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ.
She was born on May 17, 1928, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Dapp) Mattefs. Pat attended
Atwater grade school and graduated from Shorewood High School in 1946.
On August 23, 1958, she married Frank Graff in Sheboygan.
Pat loved her Savior and wanted others to know the certainty of eternal life, like she did. She loved to
sing the old hymns, and was a greeter for many years, welcoming people with smiles and hugs. She was
a member of Southside Alliance Church in Sheboygan for many years, and was currently a member of
Sheboygan eFree Church. She was also a member of other various clubs, and volunteered at St. Nick’s
for many years.
Pat loved playing cards, BINGO, and dancing. She had a zest for life and always wanted people to feel
loved and welcomed.
Survivors include: Children: Carol (Steve) Zabel of Colorado, Sue (Chris) McKinster of Oostburg, and
Michael (Amy) Graff of Pewaukee; Grandchildren: Amy, Brandon, and Danielle Zabel, Paul, Aaron, and
Micah McKinster, Amanda Mauer, Morgan Busbey, Chase, Emma, and Charlie Graff; 6 Great
grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandson; Along with other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by: Her husband, Frank; Brother, Charlie Mattefs; and Sister, Delores Rotz.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Monday (April 15, 2024) at Sheboygan eFree Church, 1710 N.
15th St. Sheboygan, WI 53081. Visitation will take place from 10:00-11:00am, with a service to follow at
11:00am. Rev. Chris McKinster will officiate and she will be laid to rest at the Cedar Grove Presbyterian
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Pat’s name to Sheboygan eFree Church.
The family would like to send special thanks to the entire staff at Cedar Grove Gardens, as well as the
Compassus Hospice nurses, Cara and Tabitha, for the extraordinary care and compassion given to Pat.
