Deborah Sue (Nisporic) Diener went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March
26, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan County. She was the faithful wife of
Dennis Diener, sharing 43 years of marriage together.
Debbie was born on January 22, 1959, to William and Margaret (Brown) Nisporic in
Sheboygan. She was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School in 1977. She played
clarinet and guitar and had a lifetime love of music. Her favorite musicians included the
Beach Boys, John Denver and Jimmy Buffet and they inspired much of her life! She
loved the sun and warm weather! Her joys were being outside with her cats and critters
and traveling to warm places! She also loved the Milwaukee Brewers and would only
be caught suffering through -20 degrees if it was Opening Day!
Debbie lived a life of service. She was a lifelong member at Luther Memorial Lutheran
Church, serving as a youth group leader, choir member, and altar guild member. She
worked in food service throughout her life. First in the kitchen at Morningside Nursing
Home, then in the Central Kitchen with her dear friend Paula, and finally as the food
server at Pigeon River Elementary School. She loved kids and took pride and joy in all
of her (great) nieces and nephews, as well as her own daughter, son-in-law, and
grandkids.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Shannon (Dave) Bongel;
grandchildren, Bella, Henry, Makayla; siblings, Mary (Stephen) Taylor, Dave (Yvonne)
Nisporic, Bill (Juli) Nisporic, and Mike Nisporic; and by her in-laws, Carol (Tim) Pfeiffer
and Bob (Nancy) Diener, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Nisporic; sister, Rose
(Allen) Diener; and her brother-in-law Jerry Diener.
A funeral service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held at Luther Memorial Lutheran
Church, 1127 Eisner Ave., Sheboygan, on Tuesday, April 2, 2o24 at 1:00pm. Visitation
will be at church from 10:00am until the time of service. A celebration of life to watch
the Milwaukee Brewers home opener will follow at Holidays in Sheboygan following the
service. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, April
3, 2024, at 11am. Memorial gifts will be given in her name to Luther Memorial Lutheran
