Mary R. Renzelman, age 71, of Elkhart Lake, WI, passed away on March 3, 2024 at Aurora Medical
Center in Sheboygan.
Mary was born on June 1, 1952 in Green Bay, WI a daughter of the late Alvin and Welma (Rose) Lodl.
She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in
1970.
On August 23, 1972 she married Daryl J. Renzelman at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.
The couple has resided in Elkhart Lake since 1977.
Mary was employed at Sargento Cheese Company in Kiel for 24 years retiring in December of 2013.
Her husband, children and family were the joy of her life. She was a member of the Mapledale
Baptist Church in Sheboygan and loved her church family. She was active in numerous bible studies and
served on many church committees. She enjoyed reading, gardening, golfing and fishing. Mary was very
thankful to God for all the great friends she was blessed with throughout her whole life. Mary and Daryl
enjoyed traveling and sightseeing, but her greatest joy was her beloved granddaughter, Abby.
Survivors include her husband, Daryl of Elkhart Lake; son, Christopher (Christy) Renzelman of Madison,
AL; granddaughter, Abby Renzelman of Madison, AL; brothers, Paul (Sue) Lodl of Cascade, Robert Lodl of
Cascade, James Lodl (significant other Margaret) of Sheboygan Falls; brothers-in-law, Dan (Cheryl)
Renzelman, Don (Jean) Renzelman, and Doug Renzelman; and sisters, Grace Reinbold and Kathy
Renzelman.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chad Renzelman; brother-in-law, David Renzelman.
Visitation will be held on Monday (March 11, 2024) at Mapledale Baptist Church, 4015 Superior Ave,
Sheboygan from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM; with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM. Pastor Guy Fredrick,
Pastor of the Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Cristo Rey Ranch in memory of Mary.
