Poor visibility and slippery roads greeted commuters in Sheboygan County and much of the remainder of Wisconsin this Tuesday morning. The conditions prompted a dense fog advisory between 3 and 9 a.m. for visibilities of a quarter mile or less in Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Ozaukee and Washington Counties.
Beyond poor visibilities in that area, slippery roads have resulted in a majority of the state according to Wisconsin’s 511 website.
Drivers are being encouraged to drive more slowly, leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead, and also to take care when walking on icy surfaces.
