Bev B. Karshner, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday,
February 16, 2024 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. She was born
February 2, 1937 in Sheboygan to the late John and Leona (Metscher) Moll. Bev graduated from
Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1955.
On September 8, 1956 she was united in marriage to George E. Karshner at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Bev had a strong faith and was a member of St. Johns UCC in Sheboygan. She was a secretary at
Washington Elementary School for many years and also worked as a Teller at Citizens Bank. Bev was
very active in her children’s activities; she was the Washington School PTA President, a Troop Leader
with Girl Scouts of America, a Den Leader with Boy Scouts of America, member of the North High School
Booster Club and a T.O.P.S member. Bev’s family was her pride and joy. She cherished making lasting
memories with them all.
Bev is survived by her husband of 67 years George, three children; Kathy (Tom) Thielke, Kristy (Jerry)
Ashmore, and Kevin (Heidi) Karshner, six grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, she is further
survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her grand doggies. She was preceded in death
by her parents and two sisters.
A memorials service will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Greenlawn Memorial
Gardens, 6706 Superior Ave., Kohler, with Rev. Judine Duerwaechter officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John’s UCC, the Racine Zoo, the Sheboygan County
Humane Society, or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Bev’s name.
