Two very different incidents some 25 miles apart are presenting plenty of questions in Ozaukee and Waukesha Counties.
The first involves a report received Monday afternoon by the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office concerning a partially-clothed woman running through back yards in the City of Cedarburg. A search turned up the 42-year-old Glendale woman hiding in a garage on Douglas Lane in the Town of Cedarburg. While being given a medical evaluation at a local hospital the woman offered information regarding an incident that occurred in the City of New Berlin, some 25 miles away in Waukesha County.
A 7 p.m. welfare check at that home on Glen Park Court resulted in the discovery of the body of a 77-year-old man by New Berlin police.
After an initial investigation a person of interested was put into custody, and officials are now untangling the details of what exactly happened.
