Eva M. Gonzales, 66, of Sheboygan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday,
January 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
Eva was born on July 5, 1957 to the late Manuel and Manuela (Lopez) Ybanez in Corpus
Christi, Texas.
She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, watching wrestling, telenovelas, and true crime TV.
Eva was caring, loving, compassionate and selfless. She would do anything for her family.
She loved taking care of her grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her. She will be
dearly missed.
Eva is survived by her children, Michael (Crystal) Ybanez, Tina Ybanez, Rafael (Malinda)
Gonzales, Patty (Joseph) Ortega, Myra Pantoja, Olivia Reyes, Zayra Reyes, Gabriel Reyes,
Ismael Reyes and Daniel Reyes; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and with another
on the way; siblings, Sarah Delgado, Martin Ybanez, Domingo Ybanez, Elizabeth
Gutierrez, Joe Ybanez, Oscar Ybanez, Julie Fleischman, Alma Pena and Mary Kaquatosh;
and many other relatives and friends who she cared for.
She is preceded in death by her son Armando Chariez; her parents Manuel and Manuela
Ybanez; her paternal and maternal grandparents; siblings Pablo Rene, Daniel Esquio,
Manuel Roberto, Ricardo Abram, Maria Inocencia, Margarita Ann, Manuel Jr., Georgia
Ann and Jamie; and her aunt Connie Castillo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at
Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Avenue, Sheboygan with Fr. Paul
Fliss officiating. Visitation will be held at Ss. Cyril & Methodius on Thursday, February 1,
2024 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and then again on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. –
10:45 a.m. with mass to follow.
