Sheboygan County Sheriff
A 58-year-old Cedar Grove man is likely facing charges related to an accident at about 5:30 on Saturday evening in the Village of Oostburg.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office reports that that man, driving his black pickup truck westbound on Center Avenue, attempted to pass another westbound vehicle; that, as an eastbound vehicle approached. The Cedar Grove man sideswiped that car and proceeded into a commercial business building on the south side of the 900 block of Center Avenue. The driver of the eastbound car, a 39-year-old Oostburg woman and the only occupant of her vehicle, was not injured.
The driver of the pickup truck was the only occupant of that vehicle. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and now faces likely charges related to speed and alcohol, which were identified by Sheriff’s Deputies as likely factors in the incident.
