Kurt M. Miller, 71, of Kohler, passed away Sunday morning, January 28, 2024, at Meadow View Health Services where he had been residing since mid December.
Born September 24, 1952, in Manitowoc, Kurt was a son of the late Karl Marx and Betty Barkley Miller. He attended Manitowoc area schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970. He continued his education at Lakeshore Technical College. On December 26, 1978, he was united in marriage to Kathryn L. Fox in Sheboygan.
Kurt was a Production & Inventory Manager for Kohler Engines for 36 years before his retirement. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler. He enjoyed golfing, especially at Town & Country Golf Club in Sheboygan, playing Yahtzee, cribbage, dice and pinball. He was an avid Lightning sailor at the Manitowoc Yacht Club and traveled to many inland lakes and ports around the Great Lakes for sailing regattas. One of his greatest joys was spending time at Road America and working on his 2007 Mustang and Wisconsin Dells. Summers were spent around the family pool with neighbors and friends. Kurt was a skilled handyman who fixed anything, built a fort for his girls and additions to their home. But the shining star in his life was his granddaughter, Katey.
