Dorothy Ann Kohl (Parr), age 72, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent
Hospital in Green Bay on Thursday, January 18, 2024. She was born
on June 22, 1951 in Sheboygan to the late Lawrence Parr and Elaine
(Tessin) Fellberg. She graduated from South High School in 1969. She
married Howard Sprengel, and in 1970, their beautiful daughter Tracy
was born.
Dorothy had a big heart, and an amazing work ethic. In addition to
working as Machine Operator at Wigwam for many years, she also
volunteered her time at Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She took great pride in
being a Big Sister for many decades. In her retirement years, she was a
member of the Uptown Social Senior Center and Grief Share Group.
She also enjoyed playing Bingo there with friends.
Dorothy is survived by her brothers Richard (Kathy) and Raymond (Gail)
Parr, her sisters Marsha Parr, Helen (Rande) Colburn, Eileen (Josh) and
Amy (Jed) Florea. She is further survived by her step-father Ronald
Fellberg, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband
William Kohl and her daughter Tracy Lynn Sprengel Ney.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Unity Hospice for
their care and compassion.
