Donald Suemnicht, age 75, of Cascade, WI, passed away January 16, 2024 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical
Center in Milwaukee.
He was born on July 16, 1948 in Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Meyer) Suemnicht.
On October 25, 1969, he married Linda Gannigan at St. John UCC in Sheboygan.
He worked at Baker Cheese, the West Bend Company, Pick’s Auto, Gehl MFG, and Ongna Wood
Products.
Don was a member of First Congregational UCC in Plymouth. He was always there to help anyone he
could, especially cutting grass and blowing snow for neighbors. He also enjoyed frying out and taking
brats to neighbors and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda; Brother, Kenneth “Butch” (Bonnie) Suemnicht of Sheboygan;
Sister, Debra (John) Masarik of Plymouth; Sister-in-law: Peggy (Walter “Butch”) Perl of Pittsville, WI;
Brother-in-law, Roger Baumhardt of Plymouth; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and
his beloved pet cat, Tiger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane Baumhardt; sister-in-law, Sharon (Dwight) Torke;
Step-mother, Doris Suemnicht; and parents-in-law, Esther and Clairmont “Curly” Gannigan.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday (January 22, 2024) at First Congregational UCC in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 10:30-11:30am, with a service to follow at 11:30am, Rev. Kristal Klemme
officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Don’s name.
