Arnold M. “Bubba” Suzuki, 71, of Sheboygan, passed away at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls on December 31, 2023.
Arnold “Bubba” was born on December 11, 1952 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Juzo and Natsue Suzuki. He graduated from Waialua Intermediate High School in 1970. He then served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Air Force from 1970 to 1974. He was united in marriage to Connie Buechel on August 27, 1999. Connie preceded him in death on August 17, 2000. Bubba was united in marriage to Lori Behrens on August 6, 2005 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Bubba was employed at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for many years until his retirement in 2013. He previously worked for the Honolulu International Airport in agriculture for many years. He was a member of Luther Memorial Church in Sheboygan. He loved reading his bible and devotions and being with his church family. Bubba loved to make people laugh with all his jokes, watching movies and spending time with his family and fur babies, Tessie and Rosa.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his daughter, Rachelle (Andy) Whitley, Las Vegas; his sister, Fran Miyamoto, Hawaii; his brothers, Harold (Toshiko) Suzuki and Richard (Kathleen) Suzuki, both of Hawaii; and his brothers-in-law, Mark (Amanda) Behrens, Green Bay, and Larry (Sue) Behrens, Arizona. He is further survived by his special friends, Keith, Donna and Pam Herbst, Valerie and Lee Moore; his fur babies, Tessie and Rosa White Dove Lovey, and many other friends and family.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents, Juzo and Natsue Suzuki; his in-laws, Leo and Lisette Behrens, his brother, Robert Suzuki; his sister, Sachi Monzen; and his brother-in-law, Dale Behrens.
A memorial service for Bubba will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Luther Memorial Church, 1127 Eisner Avenue, Sheboygan with Pastor Adam Barkley officiating. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank St. Luke’s Neuro ICU and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all their compassion and excellent care given to Bubba.
