Jeffrey Jensen, age 62, of Waldo, passed away on December 29, 2023.
He was born in Plymouth on April 28, 1961, son of Sallie (Flunker) Jensen and the late Willis Jensen Jr.
Jeff attended Cascade grade schools, and Plymouth and Kiel High Schools.
In 1979, Jeff joined the United States Navy and finished Naval Hull Maintenance School to specialize in
welding and fire maintenance on the ships. He served on the USS Sacramento and following his service
he lived and worked in San Diego until moving back to Wisconsin in 1985.
After moving home, Jeff worked as an industrial painter, becoming the lead man in the paint
department at Simplicity. He later received his CDL and drove truck for Estes Express Lines in Sheboygan
until he got sick and was no longer able to work.
He enjoyed crafting and building many different things, but his biggest passion was racing. Jeff loved all
types of racing, but his favorite was Sprint Car racing and Jeff was a fixture on Saturday nights at the
Plymouth Dirt Track for many years.
He is survived by: His mother, Sallie Jensen of Waldo; Sister, Robin (Dane) Gudex of Mesa, AZ; Brothers:
Mark (Mary) Jensen of Cascade and James (Laura) Jensen of Parnell; Sister-in-law, Kathy (Brian) Schmidt
of St. Anna; Nieces and Nephews: Stephanie Rortvedt (Trevor) of Plymouth, Jessica Jensen (Alva) of
Waubeka, Kevin Jensen (Zoe) of Cascade, Cody (Martin) Jensen of Nebraska, Madeline Schneider of St.
Anna, and Daniel Schneider of Mishicot.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Willis Jensen Jr., and brother, Ronald Schneider.
Following Jeff’s wishes, cremation will take place and celebration of his life will be held in the summer of
2024.

Hospice for their wonderful guidance, care, and compassion given to Jeff and their family.
