Alyce Mae Lydia Beeck, 87, of Johnsonville passed away on Wednesday, December 13 th ,
2023. She was born July 26, 1936 at home in Valders to Alfred and Gertrude Truttschel.
Later her family moved to the family farm in School Hill. She went to Mineral Springs
School and Kiel High School graduating in 1954.
On August 22, 1959 she married the love of her life, Allen Beeck at Zion Lutheran Church
in Louis Corners. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before Allen passed away on
October 23, 2019. They operated the Beeck family farm together until their retirement.
In 1955, they moved off the farm to their home in Johnsonville.
Ally worked at Citizen Bank of Sheboygan from 1955 to 1960. Besides working full time
on the farm, she also worked part time at The Wreath Factory helping in the garden
center and making wreaths. She belonged to Saron United Church of Christ since 1959
and was a member of the Saron Ladies Aid for 44 years. Allen and Alyce enjoyed
spending time with friends and family, especially the grandchildren and great
grandchildren. In their early years, they enjoyed dances, bowling, card club, anniversary
club, Memorial Day Group and visiting Laack’s Hall. Ally loved working on the farm,
gardening, feeding & watching the birds; especially the hummingbirds and watching the
Brewers and Packers. Thank you to friends and relatives for making her 87 th birthday
party the highlight of her summer.
Alyce is survived by four children: Cheryl (Michael) Walsh of Plymouth, Michael (Troy)
Beeck of Sheboygan, Keith (Tracy) Beeck of Plymouth and Lynn (Michael) Carlson of
Eagan, MN; grandchildren: Stephanie Ford, Riles (Katie) Walsh, Joshua (special friend
Mariah) & Brandon Beeck and Delaney & Makenna Carlson; and her great grandchildren
that lovingly call her GG: Addison & Llewyn Ford; grand dogs: Sadie, Daisy and Toby and
grand cats: Willie and Phoebe. She is further survived by brother Jerry (Carol)
Truttschel, sisters Mary Ann Ramaker and Sandy Truttschel. Further survived by
cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, mother and father-in-law Clarence
Beeck and Leona (Beeck) Rehm, step father-in-law Rueben Rehm, brother and sister-in-
law Allan & Karen Truttschel, brother-in-law Hershey Ramaker and Stephanie’s husband
Andrew Ford.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19 th at 4:00 P.M. at Saron United
Church of Christ, W3830 County Road J, Sheboygan Falls with Rev. RaeAnn Beebe
officiating. Burial will take place at Saron U.C.C. cemetery at a later date. Relatives and
friends may visit with the family at CHURCH from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff at Sharon Richardson
Hospice, especially Mary Ann and Tracy for their outstanding care and support that was
provided to Alyce and her family for the past eight months. They would like to thank
Alyce’s wonderful neighbors and friends for their kindness, visits and meals. In lieu of
flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Alyce’s name.
