Operations this coming week by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to maintain area roadways will require drivers to pay attention to road crews and lane restrictions and, in one instance, plan an alternate route.
The westbound Highway 23 off-ramp to County Highway “Y” – and access to Kohler from the east – will be closed on Monday, November 13th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. while crews repair the pavement. Those hours do avoid the busy early-morning and late-afternoon drive times.
Repairs to drainage will take place on both directions of Highway 57 between Highway 144 at Random Lake and Vorpahl Road each day Tuesday, November 14th and Wednesday the 15th. One lane in either direction will be closed during repairs.
Cable Guards will be replaced on southbound and northbound I-43 between County EE and County V on Thursday, November 14th from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., requiring single-lane closures.
As with any road operations, the Department of Transportation urges motorists to slow down and be mindful of workers near highway maintenance operations.
