An upgrade to traffic control lights in Sheboygan is underway and will have intersections operating as 4-way stops in many locations.
Upgrades began earlier this week on Kohler Memorial Drive, working east from North 25th toward 14th Street. That job is scheduled to wrap up tomorrow, but recent rains and winds could potentially delay the finish.
Another set of intersections begin their upgrades today. Operations along Calumet Drive and 14th Street will replace the lights at intersections with Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Superior, Saemann and Geele Avenues, as well as the North 15th Street-Sibley Court and Calumet Drive intersections.
While those lights are out the intersections will be operated as 4-way stops. Once again, November weather could extend the operation past its expected completion next week Friday, the 17th.
