The total weight of prescription and other medications turned in during this past Saturday’s Prescription Drug Takeback Day in Sheboygan County was almost three-quarters of a ton.
Sergeant Joel Hendrikse of the Sheboygan County MEG Unit told WHBL News that 1,443.55 pounds of medications were turned in on Saturday. Along with this past spring’s collection, 2,920 pounds of expired or unneeded medications have been collected in Sheboygan County.
